A white peacock! At St. John The Divine
Anything goes in New York, even a white peacock in the middle of Manhattan. Yes, a white peacock! Who says the Upper West side is ‘upstate?’ Come visit one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in New York, which host the famous Cathedral of St. John The Divine (112th St. and Amsterdam Avenue). When you’re there, make sure to check out Keith Herring’s altar as well, and then take a stroll through the garden next to the cathedral. If you’re lucky, you can see him dancing with feathers open, within a foot from where you are standing.
