The Guardian
Was out wandering Highland Park last night. Wandered over into the AIDS Rememberance Garden. I had never been to this location and found it quite beautiful and serene. Met the caretaker, who mentioned all the work done in this area was on a volunteer basis, and lately she's been the only one. It amazes me with the people in the gay community that I know, and the ones that love to garden, that there is not a community group to tend to this somber place of remembering. Time for me to make a couple phone calls.
