A monument to people with AIDS was erected in Zaporozhye
A modest monument appeared in the center of the city

In the center of Zaporizhzhya, on the intersection of Verkhnyaya Street and Sobornoe Avenue on the International AIDS Day, a monument dedicated to people with HIV was erected on December 1. The event was held under the slogan "HIV is dangerous until you know about it." The monument is a stone on which is depicted a Red Ribbon, symbolizing the struggle against the disease. The sculpture itself is installed in the center of the same symbolic ribbon.

Earlier, the draft of this monument was taken into account when considering the public budget.
Recall, earlier we wrote about the stories of celebrities who had been diagnosed with HIV.

Meanwhile, American doctors have learned to defeat 99% of HIV strains.Antibodies have been developed that kill up to 99% of HIV strains and are able to kill the infection at an early stage. A new development of scientists combines three types of antibodies into a triple action substance: "They are more powerful and have a wider effect than any single natural antibody known to date."
