The 'List of Names' of the Vienna NAMES Project quotes all the names of the commemorative panels of the Austrian AIDS-Memorial-Quilt and offers the possibility to add photos, stories of lives and other words. 86 out of 374 names already got a personal profile. In autumn 2001 we expanded the idea of the NAMES project into the 'List of Names' and opened the List to everybody who wants to add names of the deceased without creating a textile panel. There we have got 4 profiles. We hope the "List of Names" will give face to the deceased more than it does now and and will evolve into a real digital memorial.
