Lions Park health services emergency entrance | Jardin du Souvenir du Sida de Gunnedah |
depuis 1 Décembre 1994 sans noms |
The plaque reads:
To create - to beautify - to reflect - to remember
WORLD AIDS DAY
1.st December 1994
This garden was created by
the Gunnedah and District HIV/AIDS
Support and Education Group,
the Gunnedah Health Service
and
the Gunnedah Shire Council
as a monument to those lives lost
to the HIV/AIDS virus
The boulder also contains 20 name plaques as of 07 July 2016,
(unusual spacing suspects that some name plaques have fallen off)
as well as a larger name plaque commemorating Sue
who died in a motor accident on 17 November 1982
