Founded by the Mpoma community in 2002 to provide free formal primary education to children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, especially orphans & vulnerable children.
Initiative supported by US based non profit organization Komo Learning Centres (www.komolearningcentres.org).
The plaques read:
"This building exhibites the partenership between St. Christopher School in UK and Johnson Nkosi Memorial Primary School - 2006"
"This building was constructed and donated by Matt and Lori Makowaski together with friends in Canada in 2007"
