У Чернівцях вшанували померлих від ВІЛ\СНІДУ
У парку “Жовтневий” провели акцію, приурочену до Всесвітнього дня померлих від СНІДу.

До участі у ній долучилися заступник директора Департаменту охорони здоров’я облдержадміністрації Юрій Лесюк, головний лікар Чернівецького обласного центру СНІДу Володимир Мочульський, керівник Благодійної Організації ЧБТБО “Всеукраїнська Мережа людей, які живуть з ВІЛ\СНІД”, медичні працівники закладів міста та області, представники громадських організацій та інші. “Наразі держава взяла на себе відповідальність за лікування хворих на ВІЛ\СНІД, але для досягнення відповідного результату насамперед необхідно активно проводити санітарно-просвітницьку роботу, зокрема щодо необхідності тестування на ВІЛ/СНІД. Сподіваюсь, наші спільні зусилля зменшать кількість тих людей, які можуть померти від цього небезпечного захворювання” – звернувся до присутніх  заступник директора Департаменту охорони здоров’я ОДА Юрій Лесюк.

Під час акції волонтери роздавали наліпки та “Ліки від байдужості”, що мають привернути увагу суспільства до людей, хворих на ВІЛ/СНІД. Опісля промов біля монументу померлим від СНІДу запалили свічку та поклали квіти.

"Currently, the state has assumed responsibility for the treatment of patients with HIV/AIDS, but to achieve the appropriate result, it is necessary to actively conduct sanitary and educational work, in particular, on the need for HIV/AIDS testing. I hope that our joint efforts will reduce the number of people who may die from this dangerous disease," said Yuriy Lesyuk, Deputy Director of the Health Department of the Regional State Administration.

During the event, volunteers distributed stickers and "A Cure for Indifference" to draw public attention to people living with HIV/AIDS. After the speeches, a candle was lit and flowers were laid at the monument to those who died of AIDS.
