The Beacon of Hope was created in 1997 after the design by Warren Chapman and Jeff Byrne-Daniels. Together with the Tree of Life, planted in Sackville Gardens on the World AIDS Day in 1993, the Beacon of Hope represents one's life journey of love, hope, suffering, and compassion.
