In the course of musealization of the Dutch AIDS Memorial Quilt, Museum de Kantfabriek acquired a quilt block with a relation to the Dutch province of Limburg, block 9. One of its eight panels was made for Hans Odenhoven, founder of former Limburgs Belangenvereniging van Seropositieven en Mensen met Aids LBSA (Limburg Alliance of Seropositives and People with AIDS), then chapter Limburg of the Hiv Vereniging Nederland (HIV Association Netherlands), with its offspring still vivid as Buddyzorg Limburg (Buddycare Limburg) (left, in the Janskerk, Haarlem).
Block 9 of the Dutch AIDS Memorial Quilt has been transfered to Museum de Kantfabriek on 25 June 2015.
