Bilbao presents the HIV/AIDS Memorial coinciding with the celebration of the World Day to Combat AIDS
A red bench on the Paseo del Arenal, will remember the city's permanent commitment to the fight against AIDS.
The joint action of the Area of ​​Health and Consumption of the City of Bilbao and the Association T4 of fight against AIDS seeks to create a point of reference and reflection to educate the public in the prevention and respect for people living with HIV-AIDS and its surroundings.
The memorial is part of the commitment acquired through the accession of Bilbao to the Paris Declaration to eliminate transmissions in 2030.

On World AIDS Day, the Bilbao City Council and the T4 Association for the fight against AIDS have presented the city's permanent memorial against this disease: a red bench on the Paseo del Arenal.
The event, held this morning, was attended by the Deputy Mayor and Coordinator of Mobility, Environment, Housing and Healthy Development Policy, Alfonso Gil, the Delegate Councilor for Health and Consumption, Yolanda Díez, and other members of the corporation together with representatives of the T4 Association for the fight against AIDS and various associations working in this field in Bizkaia.

The goal of this memorial is to become a point of reference and reflection to educate the public in the prevention of HIV / AIDS and in respect for women and men living with HIV-AIDS, their partners, friends, caregivers and relatives.
