First stage of AIDS Memorial clean-up a success!
The HIV/ AIDS Memorial along the Water of Leith, near the Dean Gallery is a place for reflection and a powerful reminder of the people we have lost over the years to HIV/AIDS. Time has taken its toll on this monument though and it is in need of a bit of a facelift. Despite the variable weather volunteers from both Positive Help and Waverley Care rolled up their sleeves to give this memorial the tender loving care it deserves.
