Barbara Hall Park Toronto AIDS Memorial Trees since 17 October 1989

Seven AIDS Memorial Plaques can be found in Cawthra Square Park pointing to a memorial tree. Four of them are situated on the back side of the current Toronto AIDS Memorial, three of them in the lawn to the north. Unfortunately, not all associated trees have been photographed.
The seven plaques have the following inscription:

Dennis F. Bittner
1946-1986
"Learning to share and be
shared is wonderful"
[a maple tree, most probably a sugar maple, Acer saccharum]
There is also a panel for Dennis Franklin Bitner in the Canadian AIDS Memorial Quilt section 23.
